Nutrition Tune Up

30 minutes with a registered dietitian

Built for the questions you actually have.

You've read the articles. You've tried the rules. You've probably gotten contradicting advice from three different sources by Tuesday. And you're still not sure if what you're eating is actually supporting what you want your body to do.

That's where this comes in.

The Nutrition Tune Up is a single, focused 30-minute session with Mary Clare Christopher, our Registered Dietitian. You send us 3 to 5 days of your real food log plus a short bit of background on your goals. She reviews it carefully before you ever sit down together. Then you meet in our Salt Lake City clinic or virtually, your choice, and get specific, personalized answers to the questions you actually have.

No 12-week overhaul. No food rules. No starting over. Just expert eyes on what you're already doing and a clear sense of what's worth changing.

Who this is for

The woman who knows her body has shifted

Maybe you're in your 40s or 50s and the same foods don't land the same way they used to. You want someone qualified to look at what you're already doing, tell you what's still serving you, and help you adjust the parts that aren't.

The pregnant or postpartum mom who's tired of guessing

Pregnancy and postpartum come with a thousand small questions and not nearly enough trustworthy answers. You need reassurance, perspective, and a few specific tweaks that make real life easier.

The athlete heading into a big training block

Maybe you're bonking on long days, recovery feels slower than it should, or you want a registered dietitian to look at your fueling before you push your body harder.

How it works

  1. Book your appointment online. Pick a time that works for you.
  2. Submit your food log and intake. Send 3 to 5 days of real eating, plus a short form covering your goals, history, and questions.
  3. Mary Clare reviews everything before you meet, so you aren't spending 30 minutes catching her up.
  4. Meet in person or virtually. Your choice. Both work equally well.
  5. Walk away with clear, specific feedback and a few practical next steps you can actually do.

What you'll walk away with

Real answers to the questions you came in with. A clearer picture of what's working in your current eating and what's worth a small adjustment. Specific, doable next steps that fit your actual life. And an honest sense of whether deeper support would be useful, with no pressure either way.

What it costs

$65

Includes pre-session food log review, intake, the 30-minute appointment with Mary Clare, and a written summary of your takeaways.

If you book our 5-visit Nutrition Counseling Package within 6 months, we'll credit your $65 toward it.

When she's not in the clinic, you'll find her hiking, skiing, waterskiing, trying new recipes, and chasing her two young daughters around Salt Lake City.

Common questions

What if my food log is not perfect?

Please do not make it perfect. We want to see what you actually eat on regular days, not a curated version.

What if I have a chronic condition or complicated history?

The Tune Up is a great starting point for most people. If you have a complex history, the 5-visit package usually serves you better because real change takes time and support. If you're not sure, book the Tune Up and Mary Clare will tell you honestly whether you'd benefit from more.

Virtual or in person, which is better?

Both work equally well for this kind of session. Pick whichever makes it easier to actually show up.

Will I get anything in writing afterward?

Yes. Mary Clare sends a short summary of the key takeaways and recommended next steps so you can come back to them later.

What's the difference between the Tune Up and the 5-visit package?

The Tune Up is one focused session for specific questions. The 5-visit package is ongoing support over time with app-based check-ins between visits. The Tune Up is built for clarity. The package is built for transformation.

How soon do I need to send my food log?

At least 48 hours before your appointment so Mary Clare has time to review it thoughtfully.

Ready to get clear?

You don't need a complete overhaul. You just need someone qualified to look at what you're doing and help you do it better.

30 minutes. In person or virtual. $65, credited toward the full package if you decide to keep going.
